A Field trip to the Olentangy Indian Caverns offers many unique learning opportunities. Our 40 minute cave tour will teach your students about the Native Americans that inhabited the cave.  Your class will learn about the different uses of the areas in the cave and an insight to how the Native Americans used the cave.  Your class can also visit our museum to see the Native American artifacts.  Some were found in our cavern & others have been donated to us from other museums.

Our petting zoo has a variety of animals including White Tailed Deer, Pygmy Goats, & Zebu Cows all of which love children and will allow your class to get up close and personal with some of the cutest animals around.

Gem mining is always a class favorite. The children will mine for gems in our sluice.  We have five different mining options ranging from sea shells, an assortment of gems, arrowheads, emeralds, to fossils.

We also have an 18 hole miniature putt putt course for your class to have fun on.
