Self-Guided Cave Tour:

Explore at your own pace with the self-guided tour. Stop at 7 stations in the cave with audio recordings and informative plaques. If you listen to every station, the tour takes 20 - 30 minutes. But you are free to explore for as long as you (or your little ones) would like.

We do not offer group discounts.
AGE 2 and YOUNGER: FREE TO TAG ALONG
Little ones are free to “tag along,” meaning they are welcome to enter all activity areas at no charge. If your young adventurer wants to join in like a big kid, you can purchase gem mining dirt (to pan for rocks), maze admission (to get prize tokens for the maze), or feed the animals ($1 or $3 food). We have small, plastic golf clubs for a round of mini golf at no charge.
> Sturdy, closed-toe shoes. The caverns may be damp depending on the time of year. If it has rained recently, the above-ground activities may be muddy, as well.
> A jacket for the caverns. It’s a consistent 54 degrees all year. While this feels great on a warm sunny day, it can be rather chilly in the spring and fall.
> Sunscreen or bug repellent if you’ll be exploring the walking trail or playing on the playground.
> A picnic lunch. We have bottled drinks and candy available in the gift shop.
